‘Bleeding Edge’ refers to technology that has been created but is still not ready for the general public due to the fact that it has not been reliably tested.

‘Bleeding Edge’ technology is released in beta to early adopters in order to smooth out compatibility issues, user interface problems and other underlying design flaws and bugs that slipped through early testing.

Bleeding Edge Theatre Company has set out the ambitious aim to experiment with contemporary theatre techniques. At the heart of our company, we are passionate and engaged with physical and multi-media techniques and how this can create an immersive environment that the audience can invest into

We live in a modern world, fixated on development and technology. We have evolved into passive consumers of the latest devices to equip us to live ‘an easier life’.

As a company, we seek to challenge and question the intentions of new technological advancements. We set out to explore the developments of Bleeding Edge technology and how it affects our everyday life.

Theatre is not to be received passively. We will push boundaries. We will ask the unasked. We will reveal the hidden truths. We will ensure our message echoes beyond the walls of the theatre.

We pledge to support emerging and established artists and theatre companies. We believe it is important to engage with current and contemporary performances to enrich our devising process. We pledge to write reviews of theatre performance within Lincoln to equip us with a greater understanding of theatrical performances.
