My name is Rosie and I am the Marketing Manager and Dramaturg for Bleeding Edge Theatre Company.

My job role as Marketing Manager included:
Social Media Marketing
- Managing social media accounts and creating content for Twitter and Facebook
- Taking and editing photographs and videos
- Networking with local arts professionals
- Sending a press release to potential audiences
- Organising an interview with Siren FM
- Creating designs and digital content to market fundraising events
Print Marketing
- Writing marketing copy
- Creating design briefs and/or ideas for our designer Tom
- Sourcing flyers, programmes and posters and working to a budget (£70)
- Creating a list of places to distribute marketing material such as university buildings, cafes, shops and Siemens (due to the technological aspect of our work)
Audience Development
- Understanding the Audience Finder tool (used by Arts Council England) to best cater my marketing to the largest segmentation of potential audiences in Lincoln.
- Keeping up to date with ticket sales and being able to correlate this to our marketing activity to see what has been effective.
