Rehearsal Schedule
Disclaimer: These schedules do not include time-tabled classes with our allocated lecturer. This rehearsal schedule is separated by three sections. The first details the company’s initial research, ideas and devising. Ending with the first draft of the script. The second details the company’s process of blocking and devising with text. With additional edits to the script and movement. The third details the company’s process of working with the last drafts of the script and putting the play together as a whole.
Initially, in the first couple of weeks I worked with our stage manager to create the rehearsal schedule. However, four months is a long time and it became apparent that it was easier for me to create the schedules alone week by week. This was because I had a clearer understanding of what scenes needed to be rehearsed and because the cast’s availability changed each week.
